Classic Car Boot Sale marks 10 years at King's Cross

The UK’s leading vintage event, The Classic CarBoot Sale, will return to King’s Cross on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September 2025, marking a decade of vintage celebrations at this urban location. This fashion-forward milestone reflects both the transformation of King’s Cross into a dynamic cultural hub and the growing mainstream embrace of preloved clothing, as a new generation of enthusiasts discover the creativity and joy of thrifted shopping.

Spanning three iconic public spaces — GranarySquare, Lewis Cubitt Square and Coal Drops Yard — this exciting two-day celebration will feature over 100 hand-picked vintage traders, stunning heritage vehicles, live DJs, family fun zones, street food,and a focus on sustainable fashion and reuse culture.

Since its debut at King’s Cross in 2015, the event has welcomed a stylish crowd including Kevin Rowland (Dexys MidnightRunners), Paloma Faith, Martin Freeman and even Rocco Ritchie, as it helped bring vintage into the mainstream for a new generation of conscious consumers.

This year’s heritage highlight honours the iconic Ford Transit Van, the unsung hero ofBritish industry and pop culture. From band tour buses to getaway vehicles, this legendary panel van will be centre stage with a nostalgic display celebrating its cinematic and cultural legacy.

Lewis Cubitt Square will host an immersive family-friendly arcade experience curated by PinballGeoff from BBC’s The Repair Shop. Enjoy vintage pinball machines from the 1930s to modern day, plus classic British seaside games including Hook-a-Duck and Strength challenges.

This is the capital’s largest public fashion eventwith great people-watching opportunities as visitors arrive in their best threads from their favourite decades to shop from over 100 carefully curatedvintage and designer second hand sellers.

Visitors can admire all the brilliantly designed classic vehicles from the 1920s to the 1990s, as well as custom bicycles and the highly anticipated ride-ins from mods and rockers.

Come and meet friends and enjoy delicious streetfood and drinks from the Routemaster Bus Bar in Granary Square. Eddie Love Bus returns to Lewis Cubitt Square to dance the day away tothe live vinyl-spinning DJs.
