Transforming St Pancras Hospital

Nulla ultricies nunc ac dui porttitor

St Pancras Hospital is a 4.2-acre site to the north-west of the King’s Cross estate in Camden, London. It is currently owned by North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) and is a fully operational NHS hospital.

In December 2025, The King’s Cross Group announced it had renewed its strategic partnership with NLFT to acquire part of the St Pancras Hospital site, as part of the St Pancras Hospital Transformation Programme. The partnership and renewed acquisition agreement mark an important first step in our growth beyond the King’s Cross estate, expanding our role as a long-term steward of the area and a creator of places that deliver lasting community benefit.

Working in partnership with NLFT – and following extensive stakeholder engagement - we are bringing forward a new masterplan proposal that will create a vibrant, inclusive neighbourhood while securing long-term benefits for Camden residents. The proposals also include modern, upgraded healthcare facilities, complementing those being delivered at Moorfields’ and UCL’s new centre for advancing eye health (Oriel) which neighbours the site, and adding to new and improved healthcare facilities across Camden and Islington.

The updated scheme reflects the feedback we received and introduces meaningful improvements on previous proposals.

In February 2026, we will be asking the local community and key Camden stakeholders to view and share their thoughts on the revised proposals.
